This is StudioM\u00f6llan \u2013 a recording studio in Malm\u00f6 \u2013 Sweden.<\/strong><\/p>\n The studio was originaly built and run by Emil Isaksson, Bj\u00f6rn Wiking and Tom Malmros. The later The winter of 2009\/2010 saw a major renovation of the rooms into the state they are today. Larger recording space and and an additional two isolated rooms gives a huge advantage in isolation when recording bands live. This has since become a trademark for StudioM\u00f6llan; live recordings with no drawbacks in leakage between instruments. It actually also saves you money as it generally takes way less time to record in this fashion.<\/p>\n The renovation actually never stopped. Every year there\u2019s something happening here. The latest news is an overhaul of the acoustics in the entire studio. Also an additional space next door to the studio has been ear marked for an later expansion. Over the years the gear collection has steadily grown. There\u2019s now a huge collection of microphones, compressors, tape recorders, equalizers, reverbs, delays to choose from.<\/p>\n Analog and digital recording are both available. Both being state of the art; 2\u2033 24track + 1\/2\u2033 stereo for tape recording. 56in 64out Pro Tools HDX digital system. The DIY trend of pro audio gear has not gone unnoticed. There\u2019s a lot of gear thats actually have been manufactured in house. A fun recreation for us working here and a unique touch sound wise. Off street parking is available and housing can be arranged for longer sessions. There\u2019s also plenty talented musicians tied to the studio.
